For 2008, we kicked off with a solid men`s winter league and followed with an improved spring league. We look forward to fall in which we will be offering more levels and formats to choose from. Each season our basketball program has grown to a point that our spring league sold out.

Signing up as an individual? You can register online or if you are mailing or faxing your info into us, please include your size, age, and level of experience (eg: high school, pick-up, college, etc). Sports Monster creates new independent teams and we try to match up players to form the best unit possible. We will accept groups of up to 4 and guarantee same team placement. Please note that Sports Monster will put a maximum of 10 players on any independent team but usually we have 7-8 per team for more playing time.

Full teams are always welcome to register. Please note that you will need to have numbered shirts for this league on/by Week 2 of the regular season.

Whether you have a team, a group of up to four (4), or are signing up by yourself, we will get you on the court for the upcoming season. Sports Monster basketball is offered in four (4) skill levels:

• Recreational: This level is designed for the permanently "rusty" player or those who may have never been compared to Michael Jordan. This level is strictly for fun, socializing, exercise, and the pure enjoyment of playing recreational sports.

• Intermediate: Are you six-foot or under? Are your skills not where you would like them to be? Are you looking to get out on the courts to just shoot a few threes? Than the Intermediate level is for you. The guys and gals in this league can drain the occasional three, run fast-breaks once in a while but are primarily out there to have a good time.

• Competitive: Sports Monster`s Competitive level is our best competitive level. Players comfortable in a high school or college level will enjoy the play here.
  
  All areas of the game: passing, shooting, defense are played well but each team will have one or two areas of weakness or inconsistency that may be taken advantage of. There are no unskilled players at this level, some college experience players but the majority are IM, club or high school experienced players who execute and understand the game well.
  
  Competitive level players understand how to run plays and can successfully execute the x`s and o`s of the game.
  
  
• Open: Our open level means that it is open to both the competitive and intermediate levels. We offer this level so that either skill level can join. Once a league with an open skill level has been run for a full season, we will set it as intermediate or competitive based on skill level seen.

1. Click Upcoming Programs in the menu to the left (under the sport) for a full listing of what is starting soon.
2. Click the Info & Pricing prompt for full outline of any specific program you see listed. You may opt to register within the Info & Pricing prompt at the bottom of that screen.
3. Once you know the program you want to sign up to play, click either Team Register or Individual Register prompts.
4. Note: If you are signing up a full team, the Team fee is what you pay with applicable per player fees. Individuals who sign up by themselves pay the Individual fee plus applicable per player fees.

How are you Registering? A full team with captain paying? A team who wants each player to register and pay to play separately? A group? Or by yourself? All options are found under the Registration prompt found to the left menu bar or via the prompts under Upcoming Programs...

• For captains registering a full team, click the Team option.
• For captains starting a team who want their players to pay Sports Monster individually, click the Register as an Individual and when prompted for who you want to play with, list the team name and instruct your players to do the same. As long as the minimum roster size is met by the start of the league, Sports Monster will honor these individually paid rosters.
• For an individual signing up more than one person, click the Register Myself and Friends option.
• For an individual signing up to play with a friend who will pay separately, click the Register as an Individual option and list your friend(s) when asked who you want to play with.
• If you are signing up by yourself, click the Register as an Individual option
