Our ideal candidate will be big into one or all of these sports: Basketball, Football, Kickball, Softball, Volleyball. Facility procurement, referee training and expansion of the Sports Monter brand will be ongoing job focus. Starting salary is part time days based on leagues operating. Internships - PAID! You read right! Sports Monster provides paid twelve week internships. Candidates interested in a Chicago internship and/or Illinois residents should inquire on compensation during an internship. Hey, you have to have an internship to graduate anyway, right? Why not have one in a fun and varied environment? At Sports Monster, we will teach you how our leagues operate from start to finish and you will be directly involved with the success of day to day league operations. We usually look for current students in sports management, physical education or related fields of study. Referees/Monitors/Umpires - Sports Monster is always looking for interested and qualified people to help out in our seasonal leagues and tournaments. You do NOT have to have referee/umpire experience to qualify. You DO have to have a thorough knowledge of specific sport rules, the ability to make a decision and stand by it and understand the principles of blowing a whistle loudly.
