Fall Ball Beer Bash

Friday, September 10th at The Full Schilling from 8-11 - Come kickoff the start of the fall sports season with Sports Monster and our good friends at The Full Schilling. Once again, they've hooked us up with an unbelievable all you can drink special including unlimited domestic beer, well-drinks, wine, and select shots for only $25! That's right 3-hours of all you can drink for only $25. The Full Schilling is located at 3724 North Clark Street. Remember, the deals last from 8-11 so get there early to take advantage of the full three hours! Bring your team, friends, co-workers, etc... Anyone and everyone is welcome!

Monster Spike 7/31 - Re-Cap

Thanks to everyone who came out to support Craig Beving's family via the Monster Spike Tournament. After some early AM rain, the skies cleared up by 8 so that we could play and, as you can see from the picture, it turned out to be a beautiful day. People traveled all the way from North Carolina  Indiana and Rockford to take part and celebrate Craig and his love of beach volleyball.

Craig passed away July 14th from Lymphoma. Proceeds from this tournament are going to help defray medical expenses. Picture above was taken at the end of the day (background has 4's final going on). In picture are Craig's parents who made the drive from Rockford to come out and a number of Craig's good friends from over the years who hit Montrose Beach with him.

Thanks also to Accelerated Sports Therapy for coming out to help stretch out some (and you know who you are) old bones to play on the beach.

Each team that participated in the tournament received a $50 discount to the upcoming EARLY indoor volleyball league at Windy City fieldhouse.

Next year's Monster Spike will benefit the Lymphoma Society in Craig's memory. We look forward to seeing our old friends as well as making new ones as this event grows to be even bigger and better.

1) Navigate the site freely. You do NOT have to log in to see Upcoming Programs or to Register. If you want to log in, that is great to track your current and upcoming league status.

2) What are you playing? Pick the sport(s) of interest to you from the left menu. Read the overview page for the sport for more information or go directly to UPCOMING PROGRAMS to see Pricing & Info for the next season OR check out current info and click SCHEDULES AND STANDINGS to find your league.

3) Check out other options on the site including Player Pool to find new players or new teams or to put your info for others to find. Look for Fire Sale logos on Upcoming Programs which indicate big savings. Check out local Bar Sponsors for where to hang out after your league or to find a local bar that wants to sponsor YOUR team. And more!...Click away and have fun with the site.

Who can play? YOU -- as long as you are 19+, follow good sportsmanship etiquette and your payment clears, you are ready to play!

Yes, you can sign up as an individual (you do need to be flexible on when/where you can play). Yes, you can sign up with a friend or group and play together (flexibility required again). Yes, you can sign up a whole team as captain. Yes, you can start a whole team by signing up as an individual and referencing your team name. So many options to get you playing! So, get playing with Sports Monster this season!!
